Each month throughout the year we hold a Community Weekend. All day Saturday is a community work day on the new land with picnics and a light meditation schedule. All day Sunday is a Day of Mindfulness Practice, each month with a different theme. All are welcome to attend. Please sign up for the Weekly E-Letter to stay up to date on these energetic community building events.
Proposed Community Weekend dates are:
2011
Each quarter, one of our community weekends is offered as a Family Weekend. These events have been described as "deeply nourishing" and "so important" by parents who have attended previous events. The weekends provide an opportunity for parents and children to settle into the practice of mindfulness, look deeply at their relationships with each other, strengthen their capacities for loving and understanding, and have lots of fun with the MorningSun community.
This year we will be offering a different kind of summer experience than we have in the past, a summer opening for friends and families, with a strong spirit of togetherness. It will also be a time of community development for those interested in becoming residential members of MorningSun.

CAMPS FOR SUMMER 2011 ARE CANCELLED.
Dear friends, we are so sorry to announce that our camps for Summer 2011 will not happen. We need to make certain improvements to our roads for emergency access and also complete our permitting process before we run the programs formally. We wont be able to get that done by summer, hopefully before the winter though, so next year should be good.
However, we will "open our doors" to friends from near and far for a Summer Opening in August. See below for details.
