As we have grown to understand more deeply how to live with COVID-19, we have turned our attention to online Days of Mindfulness, in order to protect and revere life. We have had to cancel all programs through February, and we are currently re-imagining what safe programming could look like in the late Winter and Spring.
In MorningSun we are practicing compassion for ourselves and everyone around us and we want to care for everyone’s well-being. Knowing that our immune systems benefit from inner work, self-care and loving kindness, we want to use this as an opportunity to generate understanding and compassion, rather than slipping into anxiety and fear. Knowing that many of us will need to spend more time alone through social-distancing, we want to encourage the practice of touching life deeply in each moment to stay truly heart connected with ourselves and the Earth, and not slip into loneliness and separation.
For the time being, MorningSun will NOT be open for practice and will NOT be receiving any guests. We will continue to monitor the situation with care and sincerity, and will adjust our closure according to the needs of our wider community. Stay tuned!
We encourage all our friends to live and practice carefully in order to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
We see this as an opportunity to practice Interbeing. We want to honor the complexity of the world we are living in. Nature is asking us to stop, pause and go back to our body, water seeds of compassion, learn and help each other learn ways to stay healthy. We can continue to practice in our own homes and stay connected through our mindfulness.
May our shared practice continue to produce love and healing energy for all beings.
