Become a Sustaining Member

Please help us build the resource of mindfulness and compassion in the world by becoming a sustaining member of MorningSun. All you need to do is make your donation a recurring monthly donation, and your contribution will help provide support for:

  • Programming that builds understanding of social challenges, regenerative living, parenting and family relationships.
  • Outreach that contributes to local, regional and global peace.
  • Loving care for the beautiful forests, ponds, and the development of our growing farm.
  • The upkeep and utilities of the Mindfulness Center.
  • Financial predictability for MorningSun and an easy way for you to manage your contribution.

Bodhisattvas are all around us; they look like you and me. They are dedicated to bringing wisdom and compassion into the world. When we work together to create a place like MorningSun, we become Bodhisattvas, caring for the world. By joining the Circle of Bodhisattvas you will become a vital part of our MorningSun Community.

We invite you to join us on this noble path toward peace and understanding by becoming a sustaining member at whatever level you are comfortable:

$5 to $30 per month – an offering of Great Understanding
$31 to $50 per month – an offering of Great Action
$51 to $100 per month – an offering of Great Compassion
$101 to $200 per month – an offering of Great Aspiration
$201 to $800 per month – an offering of Great Respect

As a sustaining member we would appreciate your support of our General Operating Fund. Donations made to the General Fund will be used where and as needed for general operating expenses of the Mindfulness Center. However, you can also set your donation to support the Teaching Fund. This fund allows MorningSun to support our core teachers with commissions related to the programs they teach. Or you can direct your donation to the Land and Garden Fund. This fund goes towards the farm and garden with soil, tools, fences, vegees, fruits, flowers, herbs and orchard trees that all need support and maintenance.

HOW TO SET UP YOUR DONATION:

Please fill out the donation form below to set up your donation. There are 2 different ways to process it:

  1. A bank to bank transfer with either your savings or checking account (known as e-check, ACH, or EFT). Use the form below and:
    1. remember to select the “Show my support by making this a monthly donation” button
    2. select which fund you want to support (General Operating Fund, Teaching Fund, Land and Garden Fund)
    3. and enter your bank’s routing number and your account number. The rest is handled automatically by our payment processor Bloomerang.
  2. Or you may use a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diner’s Club). Use the form below and
    1. remember to select the “Show my support by making this a monthly donation” button
    2. select the fund you want to support (General Operating Fund, Teaching Fund, Land and Garden Fund)
    3. and click “Enter Payment” at the end of the form. You will then see a pop up box to enter your card info.
